Roads, Rains, and Aeroplanes!

Apparently, the rainy season has started early here...

The road we have to walk down to get to the church building is becoming quite saturated. And by that I mean it is about 3/4 underwater. The team from last year may get a chuckle out of what Tulee told me the night that we arrived in Bangkok.

Tulee- "I have good news and bad news for you."
Myself- "Oh yeah, what is it?"
Tulee- "The road to my house is neither better or worse than it was last year!"
Myself- "Oh well, I look at it as our everyday adventure!"

He was right......

Yesterday it rained all day. It kept the temperature cool, so I was fine with it.
We also started our first reading sessions yesterday, and I believe everyone had great experiences with that. I know I did!
And yes Carrie, I am reading with Neng, I met his daughter yesterday and she is very nice.
Caleb, I am reading with Aey if you remember him. We had a great discussion yesterday about finding the motivation (he said encouragement) to do the right thing, even when you may want to do something else.

We are close to the airport, and we are constantly reminded of that fact by the roar of jet engines above us throughout the day.

We are all doing fine, getting our fill of Khow pot Kai (stir fried rice and chicken).
Thank you for your prayers!
